OROVILLE, CA (MPG) - Feather Falls Casino Resort will host its annual Autoberfest Car Show and Bierfest on Oct. 10, combining a daytime car show with an afternoon beer tasting that will benefit the Oroville Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Autoberfest will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free for spectators. Vehicle owners may register at the gate for $30.

The car show will feature classic vehicles, vendors, pinstriping, food and drinks. Cash prizes include $2,500 for first place, $1,000 for second place and $500 for third place.

Bierfest will follow from 3 to 6 p.m. at Feather Falls Brewing Co. Tickets cost $20 and include samples from more than 20 beers along with German-style food. Jägermeister representatives are also scheduled to attend and distribute merchandise. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Oroville VFW.

“We’re excited to bring two great events together for a day our community can enjoy,” Feather Falls Casino Resort General Manager Matthew Mingrone said. “Having Bierfest proceeds benefit the Oroville VFW makes the celebration even more meaningful. It’s a chance to have fun together while giving back to the veterans who are part of our community.”

Activities will continue after Bierfest with dinner specials and a free performance by Outlaw Mariachi at 10 p.m.
