GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - Bulldog Brews is back for the 2026-27 school year, officially serving new menu items along with classic favorites.

Gridley High School Principal Rickki Lee Burresch previously shared that the Bulldog Brews program serves adult extensive-needs students up to age 22. The Gridley Unified School District program is housed in the Guardian Building on the Gridley High School campus.

The program teaches job-related skills while providing hands-on customer service experience to individuals preparing to enter the workforce who may need additional support.

Bulldog Brews held a soft opening last week and entered its second week of service Sept. 28.

Educator Jessica Paiva, who serves as an adviser for the group, said she is proud of the crew for picking up where they left off before the summer break.

“They remember teachers and staff who come. They were able to remember the process of making drinks and brewing our very own cold brew,” Paiva said.

The Bulldog Brews menu features hot and iced drinks, ranging from flavored lemonades to intricate cold brews and hot coffee. Delivery and pickup are available to faculty and staff throughout the district and at different campuses.

The Bulldog Brews cafe is not open to the public.

The crew and affordable prices help make Bulldog Brews a program for district employees to support, with the most expensive menu item priced at $5. Proceeds from sales go directly back into the program and help expand menu offerings.
