GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - The Gridley Titans 14U team fell to the Orland Jr. Trojans 40-8 after struggling to find consistency on both sides of the ball.

Gridley coach Aaron Lumsden said the Titans faced a difficult matchup as the offense and defense struggled to establish momentum against Orland.

One of Gridley’s highlights came through the passing game when Lane Mowles connected with Maddox Castillo for a 45-yard touchdown.

The Titans have a bye this week, giving the team time to regroup before returning to action on the road against Enterprise.
