GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - For Madaline Sweetman, opening Happy Hippie Dog Grooming was an opportunity to combine her passion for caring for dogs with the need she saw in the Gridley community.

Located at 1571 Highway 99, in downtown Gridley, Sweetman brings three years of professional grooming experience while offering a slew of services for all breeds of dogs and temperaments.

Sweetman said creating a positive experience for each dog is just as important as the grooming itself.

“I want every dog to feel safe and comfortable throughout the appointment,” Sweetman said. “Our pets are members of our family and I strive to treat every dog with patience and kindness, while helping them look their best.”

Sweetman said while dogs remain her focus, she does not offer grooming services for cats, but offers cat claw trimming.
