GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - Members of the Gridley Beta Sigma Phi chapter, Beta Omega Master, recently held their Founders Day celebration and luncheon at the Victorian Rose Garden in Biggs.
The founding of the 95-year-old organization was celebrated with the local chapter selecting Diane Wilkerson as Woman of the Year. Wilkerson is pictured with new pledge member Carol Haynes Smith.
Chapter President Dell DeMeyer and executive board members conducted the event, which followed the theme "A Garden Angel." Fresh floral arrangements decorated the luncheon table, creating an elegant atmosphere.
Members welcomed new member Sharyl Backues, who received the Pledge Ritual, and announced the new international theme, "Sisters Light the World."
Special guests included Area Council President Pam Anderson of Corning and Vice President Kat Bruhn of Redding.
