Six New Deputies Join Butte County Sheriff's Office

OROVILLE, CA (MPG) - The Butte County Sheriff's Office welcomed six new deputy sheriffs during a swearing-in ceremony held June 18.
Sheriff Kory Honea administered the oath of office to Deputy Sheriffs Hannah Wagner, Jack Nilsson, Lane Leckness, Anthony Wolf, Luis Calderon-Fuentes and Carter Felton.
Deputies Wagner, Nilsson, Leckness, Wolf and Calderon-Fuentes recently graduated from the Butte College Law Enforcement Academy before joining the sheriff's office.
Felton joins the agency as a lateral deputy, bringing prior law enforcement experience to the department.
The sheriff's office recognized the new deputies as they begin their careers serving and protecting communities throughout Butte County.
