SUTTER/BUTTE COUNTIES, CA (YSBC) - As the official end of the 2026 spring sports ended this past weekend with NorCal Championships, it’s time to recognize the achievements of the outstanding athletes throughout our area.

Today, we focus on the Northern Section baseball list.

These teams were based on observations throughout the season where statistics and playoff success factored in some decisions. Overall observations throughout the season determined final debates.

First Team: Farron Gomez, Live Oak; Cashten Acosta, Biggs; Tanner Abbott, Gridley; Jaiden Bandy, Biggs; and Dennis Dewhurst, Biggs

Second Team: Landon Epperson, Live Oak; Brayden Martin, Biggs; Eli Punzo, Gridley; Collin Beck, Biggs; and Russel Cote, Biggs.

Third Team: Xavier Ramirez, Live Oak; Marcus Duncan, Gridley; Bradley Perigo, Live Oak; Ayden Owen, Biggs; and Trey Rosser, Gridley.

Honorable Mention: Kaden Lee, Live Oak; Bikram Kullar, Gridley; Chase Ehrke, Live Oak; and Riley Engelmann, Gridley.
