YUBA CITY, CA (MPG) - The Yuba-Sutter-Colusa United Way is inviting golfers, businesses and community supporters to tee off for a cause during its fifth annual Better Together Golf Tournament on June 22. The fundraiser will take place Monday, June 22, at Peach Tree Golf & Country Club, now known as Yuba Golf Club at Peach Tree. Registration begins at 7 a.m., followed by an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
The tournament will feature a four-person scramble format. Registration is $125 per player and includes a golf cart, lunch and range balls. Participants also may purchase a $100 game wristband that provides access to nine special on-course games and contests.
Proceeds from the event will support the Yuba-Sutter-Colusa United Way’s work throughout the region. The organization focuses on improving health and well-being, supporting youth opportunities, strengthening financial stability and helping communities respond to urgent needs. Its mission is “strengthening our communities through effective partnerships.”
The local United Way serves Yuba, Sutter and Colusa counties and works with community organizations to address a range of needs, from education and family support programs to emergency assistance and nonprofit partnerships. Businesses and organizations interested in supporting the event can choose from several sponsorship levels. Presenting sponsorships are available for $4,000 and include two foursomes, promotional opportunities and event recognition.
