LIVE OAK, CA (MPG) - The Freedom Truck, a traveling mobile museum presented by PragerU, recently made a stop in Live Oak as part of a nationwide tour celebrating the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States.

The exhibit, housed inside one of six custom-designed semi-trucks, was stationed on O Street in the Live Oak Community on May 7 and 8. The immersive experience walks visitors through scenes from American history using audiovisual displays, interactive exhibits and digital recreations of Revolutionary War-era artifacts.

Displays inside the truck included replicas of the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution and images highlighting key figures and moments from the American Revolution.

According to representatives with the exhibit, more than 700 visitors toured the truck during its short stay in Live Oak. Staff members were not authorized to participate in interviews with the press.

Additional features included touchscreen games and activities, AI-generated portraits designed to bring historical figures to life and artifacts from Glenn Beck’s American Journey Experience collection.

The exhibit concludes with a film presentation focused on America’s future and the next 250 years of the nation’s history.

Representatives said the Freedom Truck has one remaining California stop before continuing to other states, although additional California visits are expected in the future.
