GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - Sacred Heart Parish, 1560 Hazel St., in Gridley has issued a call for photos, stories and historical items as it prepares for its 100-year anniversary in 2026.

The parish invites past and present members to share memories that reflect its history since its founding in 1926. Submissions may include photos of parishioners, sacramental events such as baptisms and weddings, ministry activities and historic images of the church.

Organizers are also seeking old bulletins, programs, prayer cards and other memorabilia tied to parish life.

Items can be submitted electronically by email [email protected] or dropped off in person at the box provided at the entrance of the church. Contributors are asked to include their name, contact information, names of people in the photo and the date the image was taken.

The deadline to submit materials is May 31.

Church leaders said the collection effort will help document and celebrate a century of faith, community and tradition.
