GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - The Gridley-Biggs Military Veterans Court of Honor Committee will host its annual Memorial Day ceremony on Monday, May 25 at the Gridley-Biggs Cemetery District, honoring fallen service members and recognizing those who continue to serve.

The ceremony is scheduled from 10 to 11 a.m. and is open to the public. Organizers invite area residents to attend and take part in the observance.

Gridley Mayor Mike Farr will serve as the featured speaker. Farr, a Vietnam veteran, completed two combat tours during his military service.

The program will conclude with a fighter jet flyover conducted by pilots from the 9th Reconnaissance Wing at Beale Air Force Base.
