YUBA CITY, CA (MPG) - The Sutter County Board of Supervisors recognized four winners in its annual drawing contest, which invited residents to illustrate “Your Favorite Place in Sutter County.”

County officials said the contest drew more than 20 entries from across the community, reflecting a range of locations and artistic styles.

The winners include Violet Y. in the 5 and under category, Delta L. for ages 6 to 10, Allison O. for ages 11 to 15 and Amanda W. in the 16 and older division.

Each winner will receive an art set funded by members of the Board of Supervisors. Officials said the winners will be formally recognized at an upcoming board meeting.

All other participants will receive a coloring book and art supplies in recognition of their submissions.

The county has placed all submitted artwork on display in the lobby of the County Administration Building at 1160 Civic Center Blvd. in Yuba City. The exhibit remains open to the public during regular business hours.

Officials said the contest aimed to encourage community engagement and highlight the places residents value most across Sutter County.
