BUTTE COUNTY, CA (MPG) – Butte County dispatchers handled nearly 3,600 calls for service in February, according to data released March 1.
The report shows a total of 3,557 calls into dispatch during the month. Of those, 712 were classified as Priority 1 calls, which include 911 emergencies requiring an immediate response.
Dispatch also recorded 544 Priority 2 calls, defined as incidents that require an immediate response but are not considered life threatening. Another 634 calls were categorized as Priority 3, which are non-immediate response incidents.
The largest category was Priority 4 calls, totaling 1,667. These calls generally involve routine responses such as traffic stops or other nonemergency service requests.
