‘Guys and Dolls’ Performing March 11-13

GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - Gambling gangsters and high romance come together in the GHS musical “Guys and Dolls,” performing March 11 at 4 p.m. and March 12 and 13 at 7 p.m. in the Guardian Building at Gridley High School, 300 E. Spruce St.
Audience members can expect comedy, drama and memorable songs, including “Luck Be a Lady” and “Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat.”
More than 30 students are involved as cast or backstage crew members. Gerardo Negrete and Asia Clark play Sky Masterson and Sarah Brown. Will Bevan plays Nathan Detroit. Claire Robertson and Miley Miranda play Miss Adelaide.
The production is the “junior” version of the musical. The show runs about 90 minutes and is appropriate for children.
Tickets cost $12 for adults and $8 for K-12 students. They are available at GridleyMusic.com or at the door.
