GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - The UPS Store in Gridley has changed ownership, with brothers Jazz Deol and SD Deol now behind the counter.

The brothers, who are from Live Oak, said they completed six months of training, including a week in Texas, to ensure a smooth transition with no interruption in service. They described Gridley as an extension of their hometown and said they aim to create a welcoming, customer-focused environment.

“I want to make sure it’s more of a homey feel,” Jazz Deol said, adding that they are willing to stay later when needed to meet customer needs.

All UPS Store services remain available, including Amazon returns and notary public services. The primary change for customers is expanded hours. The Gridley UPS Store is now open seven days a week, with new Sunday hours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

As previously reported by the Gridley Herald, the UPS Store plans to relocate from its current corner suite at the Heritage Oak Shopping Center between Dollar General and Gridley Express Laundry. The future location will be Unit 1540 near Little Caesars Pizza.

The Deol brothers said the move is planned in part because of the new site’s proximity to the highway and increased visibility along the busy roadway. For now, the store continues to operate at 2 E. Gridley Road, Suite B, in Gridley.
