BUTTE COUNTY, CA (MPG) – Butte County Sheriffs Department expanded their staff by adding four new correctional deputies to their ranks.

A swearing in ceremony was held the first week of January, with Sheriff Honea welcoming Correctional Deputy’s Jose Barreto, Randy Sousa, David Bowdy and James Her to the department.

“Our Jail Expansion Project is very close to being complete, and we are still looking to add additional correctional deputies to our growing team,” said a post made on social media by the Butte County Sheriff’s Department.
