Community Orchestra Set to Offer Free Christmas Concert

GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - The Sutter Buttes Family Orchestra moves into its second decade offering inspiring live orchestra music with “Christmas Bells Are Ringing.”
Ethan Jacobsen, Gridley High School Music Director, will conduct the community orchestra. Pieces will be themed on Christmas bells, an anticipated highlight of the holiday season. “All Is Calm” will feature soloists Kirsten Little on French horn, Jonathan Quine on trumpet, and Cliz Townsend on clarinet.
All are invited to this free hour-long concert. The orchestra will perform at 7 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 400 Spruce Street in Gridley.
