GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - The 71st Annual Gridley Invitational Basketball Tournament (G.I.B.T) celebrates as the action hits the court at Farmers Hall, Gridley, beginning Thursday, Dec. 11.

The legendary Gridley Invitational Basketball Tournament historically invites Sacramento and Bay Area teams to play top-tier hoops with the Gridley High School Bulldogs.

Tradition continues as veterans Salesians and Dublin return, joined by Saint Mary’s, Modesto Christian, Clovis North, Folsom and Branson teams.

Game play begins at 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday, with Saint Mary’s initiating tournament play as they take Dublin. Saturday, consolation rounds begin at 2 p.m., with the championships rounds starting at 5 p.m.

Gridley boys take on Salesian at 7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 11.

Tickets can be purchased at the door with a credit card or on GoFan.com. The tournament will also be live streamed at NorCalSportsTV.com for those that cannot attend in person.

Tickets are $11/adult, with tournament passes for $28. Seniors, Military and Students without ASB cards are $9.  Children and students k-5, and 6-12th grades with ASB card get in for free.
