OROVILLE, CA (MPG) - This Thanksgiving, Mooretown Rancheria and Feather Falls Casino & Lodge continued their long-standing commitment to supporting local families by donating 200 turkeys to community organizations across the region.

The turkeys were distributed to three nonprofits that play an essential role in helping local residents in need: the Oroville Rescue Mission in Oroville, the Salvation Army in Yuba City and Azad’s Martial Arts Thanksgiving Basket Brigade in Chico.

For Mooretown Rancheria and Feather Falls Casino & Lodge, the annual holiday season is an opportunity to give back to the communities that support them year-round. Their focus this year, like every year, is on helping ensure that families facing hardship can still enjoy a warm Thanksgiving meal.

“We consider it a true honor and privilege to give back to the surrounding areas during this holiday season,” said Matthew Mingrone, General Manager of Feather Falls Casino Lodge. “By sharing these Thanksgiving turkeys, we are stepping in to assist when and where we can, dedicated to supporting and watching our community grow together.”

The Oroville Rescue Mission, Salvation Army Yuba City and Azad’s Martial Arts Thanksgiving Basket Brigade each serve hundreds of individuals and families through food assistance, outreach programs and dedicated holiday drives.
