LIVE OAK, CA (MPG) - The City of Live Oak is pleased to announce the appointment of Ethan Gutierrez as the city’s new Finance Director, with a start date of Dec. 1.

Gutierrez brings a strong background in public-sector finance, with over a decade of local government finance experience with multiple agencies including Yuba City and Sutter County. His work has included municipal budgeting, financial reporting and long-term fiscal planning, giving him a well-rounded foundation to support the city’s financial operations.

Gutierrez holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting, further strengthening his expertise in governmental finance and fiscal management.

In his new role, Gutierrez will oversee the city’s budgeting, accounting, financial planning and fiscal management. His leadership will help further the city’s commitment to transparency, operational efficiency and responsible stewardship of public resources.
