GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - The 8U Gridley Titans closed the regular season on Saturday Oct. 18 with a dominating 34-0 victory over the Central Valley Jr. Falcons at the Boneyard.

Bob Waller, Jeremiah Enriquez, Xander Beum, Mateo Thao and Kanon Buzzard all scored touchdowns for the Titans, while Tucker Schnepel and Conor Mell both ran in extra points. Emmett Burns recovered 2 onside kicks, and David Sanchez added a recovery of his own. Branston Crislip forced a safety on defense to round out the scoring.

Captains for the game were No. 99 Valentino Guillen, No. 4 Jax Terrell, No. 9 Kanon Buzzard and No. 21 Mateo Thao. The 8U Titans begin their championship quest this coming weekend, Saturday Oct. 25, with a playoff matchup against the Paradise Jr Bobcats in Weed.
