WEED, CA (MPG) - The 12U Titans travelled to Weed this past weekend and defeated the Jr. Trojans 25 – 19.

It was a defensive battle in the first half, but the Titans were able to go into halftime with a 6 – 0 lead thanks to a 50-yard touchdown run by Deandre Carothers.

In the second half, the game got explosive as the two teams went on multiple scoring drives and lead changes.

Late in the fourth quarter, the Jr. Trojans held a 19 – 18 lead.

After a turnover-on-downs, the Titans marched the ball down the field and scored the final touchdown to win the game. This improves the 12U Titans record to 4 – 1 on the season. They travel to Paradise to face the Jr. Bobcats this upcoming weekend.
