GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) – The streets of Downtown Gridley will be full of merriment Oct. 2 as the first Harvest Moon Festival commences.

The festival is new to Gridley and invites the public to join local merchants, businesses and vendors as two blocks of Hazel Street between Vermont and Ohio Streets are closed for the evening of shopping and entertainment.

The event is scheduled for the first Thursday of Oct., from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and will feature a variety of jewelry, décor, clothing and treats.

Merchants include The Mercantile, Eight Six O, The Farmers Wives, Our Town Pizza, Ohana Hands on Training and more.
