Titans push hard against the Anderson Cubs at the Gridley High School Boneyard.

GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - The 8u Gridley Titans welcomed their home crowd to the Boneyard for the first time this season by handing the Anderson Jr Cubs their first defeat of the season 30 to 6.

Emmett Burns and Kanon Buzzard provided two touchdowns a piece, while QB Jax Terrell added a touchdown of his own. Valentino Guillen forced two fumbles; one recovered by Benten Waller and the other recovered by Buzzard.

Captains for the game were No. 6 Benten Waller, No. 50 Leeland Warfield, No. 7 Cashten Waller, and No. 22 Cason Gutierrez. The Titans make the long trip to Weed this Saturday to take on the Sisikiyou County Trojans.
