GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) – On Thursday, Aug. 7, at approximately 4:27 p.m., the Gridley Police Department received a report of a deceased individual located in an abandoned warehouse at the south end of Virginia Street, near Cedar Street.

Officers responded and discovered a male who appeared to have been deceased for several days. His identity is currently unknown. The individual is believed to be Hispanic, between 30 and 40 years old.

This case is being investigated as a suspicious death. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
