Come Have Fun at National Night Out

GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) – National Night Out is celebration that brings local law enforcement out to connect with the community and is traditionally celebrated on the first Tuesday in August.
This year, National Night Out will be on Aug. 5. The Live Oak, Biggs and Gridley tri-area are hosting various events to promote community partnership and have some good, family friendly fun!
Come check out the fun and meet others in your community!
In Live Oak event times are 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Live Oak Memorial Park. Swimming and School Supplies will be available.
In Biggs, event times are 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Cork Oak Park next to the pool. Come talk with Gridley/Biggs Police and other community partners. Swimming, photo area and BBQ Hot Dogs to the first 225 people will be provided free. There will also be giveaways for Bikes, Scooters, Helmets, Backpacks and Books. Bring blankets and chairs to enjoy the night out.
In Gridley, event times are 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Manuel Vierra Park. Come talk with Gridley/Biggs Police, CAL FIRE firefighters and other community partners. There will be Live Music, Food Vendors, Craft and Information Vendors, a bike giveaway and backpack and school supplies giveaway.
