GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - Christian Life Assembly of Gridley announced its inaugural Teacher Appreciation Reception, an event to honor and thank teachers and their critical contribution to our communities. Teachers from Live Oak, Gridley, Biggs and Richvale are welcome to come and receive free school supplies and enjoy light refreshments. The event will be held at the church on Saturday, Aug. 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1526 Humble Avenue in Gridley (off East Gridley Road).

Community members who would like to donate school supplies can contact Debbie Melton for pick up at 530-693-1977. Suggested supplies are notebooks, pencils and pens, erasers, play dough, etc. Checks also can be mailed to Christian Life, 1526 Humble Avenue in Gridley to fund more supplies. The church thanks Grocery Outlet for their help and donations.
