May 01, 2025 09:31AM ● By Enloe Health News Release
GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) – May is Stroke Awareness Month, a time to learn about the signs of stroke. Did you know that someone suffers a stroke every 40 seconds in the United States? Risk factors for stroke include high blood pressure, diabetes, smoking, obesity, high cholesterol, an irregular heartbeat, lack of exercise and poor diet. Having three or more risk factors can increase the possibility of a stroke. Talk to your provider if you think you may be at risk.
