BUTTE/YUBA/SUTTER COUNTIES, CA (MPG) - There’s still time to see some of the best decorated holiday homes throughout Butte, Yuba and Sutter counties. The following list has been compiled to help ensure your Christmas light hunting is a success!

Butte County

The two listings on californiachristmaslights.com both rest under its most populous city, Chico. The first is “Songbird Lights,” located at 4788 Songbird in Chico, described as a walking neighborhood with a light show and FM broadcasting. Next is Blow Mold Memories, a nativity scene located at 2410 Floral Ave. in Chico.

Songbird was heavily suggested on social media alongside Van Ness Way in Durham and Kiefer Road and Amber Grove in Chico. Those last few received countless reviews and engagements on a local Facebook page called Butte County Fires, Accidents, Crimes (BCFAC).

Also suggested was the Schouboe House Christmas Drive Thru Display located on Tyden Way in Paradise. This display is advertised to open at approximately 6 p.m. nightly until Dec. 31.

Last but certainly not least is Lights of Hope, a free, family-friendly holiday event featuring a stunning light walk and festive activities. This event, located at 3556 Oro Bangor Highway in Oroville, runs from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday until Dec. 23.

Yuba County

Those touring through Yuba County would be well advised to stop at the Dean family house, also known as “Santa on 6th Street,” located at 825 6th St. in Marysville. If you're feeling more adventurous, check to see if the “Christmas Queen” Danielle Miners has lit up her Loma Rica kingdom, located at 5584 Fruitland Rd.

The second annual South Yuba Bright Light Battle, hosted by Yuba Sutter Real Estate, is still underway. Residents can vote for their favorite home online at tinyurl.com/42frcv7x up until Dec. 22.

Winners will be announced on Dec. 23. This free competition is meant for homes in Arboga, Marysville, Linda, Olivehurst, Plumas Lake and Wheatland. Last year, the winners were 1071 Lost Trail Dr. in Plumas Lake, 1146 Bob Hayes Dr. in Olivehurst, and 1624 Larry St. in Olivehurst.
