Biggs’ Big Christmas Fair is This Weekend!
Nov 29, 2024 09:29AM ● By Seti LongBIGGS, CA (MPG) - It doesn’t snow much locally but Biggs can honestly say they get the white flurries every year during their Biggs Christmas Street Fair & Tree lighting.
Held on the weekend, the event starts mid-afternoon and runs into the evening, offering shopping, tasty treats and contests to those that turn out for the fun! Volunteers have added extra cheer, decorating the downtown corridor with lights and festive decorations in anticipation of the community event.
This coming Sunday, Dec. 1, Biggs closes B Street beginning at 3 p.m. for the Marketplace. Santa will be available for selfies beginning at 4 p.m. and at 5 p.m, the most horrendous “Ugly Sweater” will be chosen as the winner of the Ugly Sweater Contest. Make sure you are decked out in yours to participate!
The holidays will officially come to life for Biggs at 6 p.m. when the community tree is lit.
Project Biggs, who brings this event to the community, invites all to come out and enjoy the warmth of this small-town holiday celebration.
