GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - On Sunday, Dec. 8 at 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., the Kids’ Choir will present the Christmas musical, “Wise Guys and Starry Skies” at Gridley Christian Church. 

Fifteen talented children will present the importance of Jesus’ birth with singing, drama, costumes and lights.

Jesse (Isaac Boykin) wants to learn how to become a Wise Guy.  He shares with Melchior (Arabella Johnson), Gaspar (Celeste Watson), and Balthasar (Declan Hildebrand) the prophecies he has learned about the Messiah. As they all travel to find the heavenly king, Cookie (Isabella Taylor) prepares unique menu items. When the star disappears, what will they do?

When the stable comes into view, Mary (Lyla Watson) gratefully receives the precious gifts offered. Surprisingly, Jesse gives the most important gift of all. At the end, our narrators (Georgia Morgan, Marcus Hildebrand) help us understand how we can become wise guys, too.

Come and celebrate Jesus’ birth with us.  Nursery services are available for small children. 

Children four years old through eighth-grade are invited to join the Kids’ Choir for the spring musical, “Rock Solid.”
