GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) – After their first farm-stand tour in early September was a major hit, the local women that peddle their home-made and home-grown goodies at their respective stands are bringing the tour back for the Holidays!
The second Gridley-Biggs Farm Stand Tour returns on the weekend of Dec. 7, with seasonal crafts, jams, gifts and fresh season fruits available for purchase.
The five original farm stand tour locations are joined by Wile Rye Farm in Gridley. This time around, each farm stand will have a personalized stamp. Visit each of the farm stands and collect a stamp from each to win a holiday gift basket with good from each of the 6 stands.
Do you love the smells of the holiday season? Enjoy them for hours with homemade potpourri simmer pots and citrus wreaths from the Windmill Flower Farms stand. Photos provided by Windmill Flower Farms.
Participating in the December Farm Stand Tour are stands: Reis Ranch Produce – 405 Larkin Road., Gridley; The Sheldon Stand – 78 Sheldon Ave., Gridley; Windmill Flower Farms, 535 Obermeyer Ave., Gridley; The Crackleberry Hut, 1565 Palm Lane., Gridley (across from Eagle Meadows); Aldrich Farm Cart – 666 Little Ave., Gridley and Wild Rye Farm, 1692 Grace Road., Gridley.
Maps are available on Facebook on each of the stand’s individual pages. While some of the stands do accept Venmo, visitors will want to have cash on hand.
The winner of the gift basket will be announced Sunday, Dec. 8.
