GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - The Gridley 14U Titans took the long trip up to Yreka on Saturday, Sept. 28 to take on the 14U Miners.

The game was started by the Titans defense setting the tone for the game. They got a quick three and out, forcing the Miners to punt and allowing the Titans offense to get going.

The running game was a big factor for the Gridley Titans getting the win. The Titans rushed for a total of 248 yards with Benny Zumwalt leading the charge with 94 yards and Hudson Oakley trailing with 76 yards and two touchdowns. Talan Sannar and Chandler Dixon were also able to score a touchdown each. With the run game working well the pass game opened up for Alec Luquin, allowing him to throw a 26-yard touchdown pass to Jaiden Bandy.
