Clayton Recognized for Saving Residents

GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - At the last City Council meeting, City of Gridley employee Michael Clayton was recognized for his valiant efforts saving locals from a house fire.
In the early morning hours of July 5, a fire broke out in a home located on E. Gridley Road, Gridley.
Clayton was passing by when he saw the flames and stopped, getting seven young adults out of the house safely before the first responders arrived.
Clayton was praised and thanked for his selfless efforts and was joined by some of the young men he saved at the meeting.
