BIGGS, CA (MPG) - Join the community for the eighth annual Run Around the Rice 5K, 10K and kids dash in early September.

This event is put on by our parent group, PAWS, that benefits the students and staff at Biggs Elementary School.

Run Around the Rice is an educational, family friendly run/walk that will enlighten you in the cycle of prepping, planting and harvesting rice all while getting some exercise. Be prepared to see all the natural beauty right here in our backyard.  It is sure to be a great experience.

The Run Around the Rice 5K and 10K runs will be held on Sept. 8 with an 8 a.m. start-time in Richvale. Check out runsignup.com/runaroundtherice for more information.
