GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - As the end of the school year wrapped up for area high schools, the Gridley Quota Club held its second traditional luncheon of the year — the scholarship luncheon.

Annually, the ladies of Quota invite graduating seniors from Live Oak, Gridley and Biggs high schools with GPAs of 3.9 or higher to join them for lunch and gifts. Quota traditionally awards scholarships to graduates as well.

This year a large group of graduates joined the Quotarians for lunch, sitting at banquet tables set in their high school colors.

The seniors dined on burgers and chips as they were recognized for their outstanding academic achievements. Each was awarded a gift bag and posed for a group picture before dispersing.
