GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - Orchard Hospital recently purchased a new non-emergency medical transportation ambulance to enhance patient care and relieve strain on county ambulance services. The acquisition, made possible through generous donations from the Orchard Hospital Foundation, marks a significant step in bolstering healthcare services in the region.

The new ambulance will primarily serve to transport non-emergent patients to neighboring hospitals when specialized care is required, thereby facilitating smoother inter-facility transfers. This addition is expected to alleviate pressure on county ambulances, ensuring prompt and efficient transportation for patients in need.

The new ambulance is slated to be fully operational in the upcoming months, further reinforcing Orchard Hospital's commitment to providing high quality healthcare close to home.
