BIGGS, CA (MPG) - On Saturday, February 24th, the Biggs Wolverine Basketball tore up the court and sent the Redding Christian Lions home defeated, as they secured the Division 6 Northern Section Championship.

Biggs Basketball has logged 15 victories in a row, and added this to their list of wins, beating the Lions 60-45.  Insiders at Biggs High School report that the Wolverines haven’t won this title since 1980!

According to Team Reports, major players in securing the title and win were Chase McClean and Skyler Long, with Emilio Vera as a key contributor.

Biggs JB Basketball is comprised of Tim Felkins (2), Brady Smith (10), Chase McClean (5), Solo Menedez (11), Skyler Long (15), Emilio Vera (23), Brody Hudson (33), David Ibarra (22), Chris Kroupa (24), Baker Smith (34), and Johnny Conn (40).

The Champions will play in the 2024 CIF Regional State Boys Basketball Playoffs- NorCal Division 6 Wednesday, February 7th at the BHS Mel McLaughlin Gym.
