LIVE OAK, CA (MPG) - The community of Live Oak came out in force last Friday, December 1st for their annual Small Town Holiday Celebration.

With 60 vendors packed in front of the Live Oak Community Center, the Christmas spirit was palpable as people shopped, sipped hot cocoa, and partook of tasty treats for sale. Smiles were abundant thanks to venues that ranged from a do-it-yourself s’mores stall to family photos with Santa Claus and his red sleigh.

Festive music was audible from anywhere in the event and the townsfolk of Live Oak mingled and celebrated with the collective cheer that only comes from this magical time of year.

The height of the local event saw an impressively dense crowd gather for the Tree Lighting ceremony, performed by Live Oaks Mayor, Nancy Santana.

Live Oak’s annual Christmas Celebration was a wonderful time that family members of all ages enjoyed.  The evening surpassed expectations and one can’t help but feel excited anticipation for next year’s event.
