GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - Gridley FFA is holding the annual Day of Service event to benefit the community!
On Monday, November 13th, Gridley FFA members will be engaging in several service projects at our monthly meeting. Planned activities include blanket tying, making dog toys out of old t-shirts, writing positive cards for any groups that can use cheer this winter, and most importantly, our annual canned food drive.
The Gridley FFA Chapter would really love your help and support this Holiday Season! We are looking to local families to help support this great project by donating canned or dried goods. Any food item with a long shelf life can help someone in our community through tough times. These goods will be donated to various churches and organizations including the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Food Closet, the Calvary Chapel of Gridley, and the North State Food Bank in Oroville. Even the smallest donation can help support someone in need.
Additionally, we appreciate your donation of any old t-shirts or felt to help our dog toy making and blanket tying service projects.
On Monday, FFA members can come to your door to collect any donations. If you would like to help Gridley FFA with this great cause without leaving your home, please notify us of your address. Any questions or notifications may be sent to [email protected] or [email protected].
If you would like to drop off a donation, there will be a box in the front office of Gridley High School throughout the week of the 13th, at 300 E Spruce Street.
On behalf of the Gridley FFA Chapter I would like to say thank you for always supporting our chapter and community!
