GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) – Gridley High School Leadership is already in the holiday spirit and asking for community support for their 3rd Annual Christmas Light Display.
During COVID-19, the leadership class designed a drive-thru light show for the community to help spread cheer during lockdown. It has returned each year since, back by popularity and growing bigger every time it is held!
This year, the Christmas Light Display will be a walk-thru event instead of a drive-thru, with a few new additions. Live holiday music will be performed by the band as visitors weave in and out of the displays and guests will have the opportunity to take photos with Santa Claus, who will be present each night.
GHS Leadership is really looking for the community to help sponsor this event and needs donations to make this year the grandest display yet! They are asking the public for donations of lights and blow-up decorations. Monetary donations will also be accepted.
The Christmas Light Display will be held December 18th -20th from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Donations will be accepted up to Friday, December 16th until noon. If you would like to donate to the GHS Christmas Light Display, please take donations to the GHS Front Office or contact the school at 530-846-4791.
