GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - On Sunday, March 27 the kids’ choir will present the children’s musical “We Like Sheep” at 10:30 A.M. and 4:30 P.M. at Gridley Christian Church.

Children ages 4 and older will be on stage with costumes, music, lights and drama wanting to tell you about our Good Shepherd: Jesus.

Grimey (Isaac Boykin) just does not fit in with the rest of the flock and is not accepted by them. He is rebellious and the other sheep do not like him. He runs away, but the shepherd (Kyle Taylor) thinks Grimey is just as valuable as the other 99 sheep and leaves the flock to find him.

Two baby lambs (Celeste Watson and Delaney Swanson) want to know about the shepherd and ask questions. Some of the sheep (Ainsley Swanson, Brielle Landes, Keelia Hildebrand, Isabella Zarate and Amethyst Knight) answer their questions and in the process are reminded of the shepherd’s great love for all of them, even Grimey.

Old Ramsey (Marcus Hildebrand) is the only one who knows the good shepherd’s name, Jesus. In the end, a big celebration occurs because the shepherd lovingly leads Grimey back home.

Gridley Christian Church is located at the corner of Hazel and Washington Streets next to Sav Mor Market. Call Bonnie at (530 )933-9845 with any questions about the kids’ choir.
