GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) – The cast of the upcoming GHS musical, The Little Mermaid, has been quite lucky.
Reportedly, the Gridley Lions Club challenged the cast to a fish-off, all in fun of course. The Lions sent their best fisherman in Vern Hartman, but Ariel, the little mermaid, out fished him and won the bet.
On behalf of the Gridley Lions Club, Hartman presented the cast of the musical with a check for $250 to go towards the fundraiser and pay off their debt for loosing the challenge.
