GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - Surrounded by their classmates and families, the 3^rd graders at Wilson Elementary School performed a rousing patriotic program.

Last Wednesday, February 16^th at 1:00 pm, the third-grade classes met together on the basketball court area of the playground, which functioned as their stage. Families were invited to attend to watch the annual program as the students performed multiple patriotic songs. Opened by the Pledge of Allegiance, the repertoire featured songs such as “God Bless America”, “You’re a Grand Old Flag”, “God Bless the USA” and “Fifty Nifty United States” sung in both regular and super-fast versions. All songs were performed by memory.

The little patriots wrapped their program to the loud applause of those in attendance and retired to their classrooms to retrieve their belongings before heading home with their surely proud families.
