Project Would Repave Roadway, Install New Traffic Signals

BUTTE COUNTY, CA (MPG) – Caltrans is seeking public comments about a proposed $33.2 million pavement rehabilitation project on State Highway 32 between Muir Avenue and the Highway 99 junction in Chico.

An open house is scheduled from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 9 in the parking lot of Valley Contractors Exchange, 951 East 8th Street (westbound Highway 32), near Alder Street.

Community members can view project displays and review materials, including environmental documents. Caltrans staff members will be available to answer questions and receive comments from the public.

   Avenue and Highway 99.

• Rehabilitate drainage systems currently in poor or fair condition.

• Install new intersection lighting and traffic signals at various locations.
