GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) – Red Suspenders Days received quite a surprise from Welch Workwear.
Curious about their suspenders, a volunteer working with the Chamber of Commerce, contacted the company with multiple inquiries. After some exchanges, Welch Workwear decided to donate something special to the Chamber in honor of Red Suspenders Day - 100 pairs of Red Suspenders!
Welch Workwear, out of Oregon, has had a love for making suspenders since founder Fred Welch started the business in 1967. Their website shares the story of the family-owned business and even features a “Suspender History” at welchworkewear.com. Today, they are partnered with Kinco, but continue to make the “strongest suspenders on the market” and pride themselves on unmatched quality made in the USA.
