GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - The Gridley Police Department has received information that people have been receiving calls from phone numbers that appear to be from the police department. The callers identify themselves as police officers and state the call recipient has an arrest warrant and request payment to avoid criminal proceedings. Please be advised that no member of our department will call you to request payment related to any outstanding arrest warrant.
