BIGGS, CA (MPG) - As the school year comes to a close and Biggs Seniors prepare for commencement, a few Wolverines stand out from the pack.
This year’s Valedictorian, Emma Hudson and Salutatorian, Blake McClean, not only excelled in academics but also in sports. The two were nominated by the athletic department for Outstanding Male Athlete and Enterprise Record Athlete of the Year - McClean and Outstanding Female Athlete and Enterprise Record Athlete of the Year - Hudson. McClean was nominated for his exceptional performance on the football field and basketball court and Hudson for her hard work on the volleyball court and softball field. Athletic Director Amy Smith says that, “Both are a combination of great students (valedictorian and salutatorian), decorated athletes and most importantly, represent BHS during athletic events with sportsmanship and honor.”
Selected by BUSD administration and staff for their overall academic achievements and involvement with Biggs High School, Andrew Wylie was named Outstanding Male Senior and Maedean Sharrock received the award for Outstanding Female Senior.
Congratulations Biggs Class of 2020!
