Snow-Time in Biggs

BIGGS, CA (MPG) – Once again, B Street in downtown Biggs will be blanketed in snow for the annual Christmas Street Faire & Tree Lighting.
The music and market begins early, Sunday, December 8th with local entertainment and a host of food and gift vendors closing down the street at 4 pm. Come out and enjoy some hot cocoa, but don’t forget to bring your phone to snap a shot of you and Santa this year at “Selfies with Santa” -available for most of the evening.
New this year and sure to be a crowd-pleaser, the Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest will be held at the downtown stage. To enter just arrive at the stage by 6 pm. Project Biggs encourages everyone to “Wear your creative, bright, gaudy, one-of-a-kind Christmas sweater creations for a chance to win a prize!” Family friendly please, as the little ones will definitely be in attendance.
At 6:30pm, all will gather for the tree-lighting ceremony at downtown Biggs Park. The festivities will continue until 7:30 that evening, sending all home merry & bright.
