LIVE OAK, CA (MPG) - Alex Goodman has been called to serve a full-time mission in the Dominican Republic Santo Domingo East Mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The mission encompasses the eastern third of the country, including east Santo Domingo and San Pedro de Macoris.

Goodman will begin his mission at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah, where he will receive training in teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and in the Spanish language. Goodman will address the local Spanish congregation at 9:00 am Sunday June 16 at the Liberty Church, 1259 French Avenue. His parents are Clay and Stephanie Goodman.
